Conventional Stainless Steel Guides
Rollers are made of the finest stainless steel, machined to a 40 micro finish or better and polished in walnut shell for six hours to enhance performance. Our rollers also carry a lifetime replacement guarantee!
Permanently bonded AmeriCoat lubricant coating that protecting the bearing from corrosion and reduces wear and friction. One of the highest technological coatings available anywhere so our bearings carry an unconditional lifetime replacement guarantee.
STAINLESS STEEL FRAMES
All American Roller Guides manufacturer frames in stainless steel for extra strength, are corrosion resistant, and reduce the chance of foot breakage. Our rolled frame openings offer a large knot clearance and prevent the line from traveling between the frame and the roller as well as protecting the line from frame edges. In addition to the excellent quality you have become accustomed to, with our stainless steel frames and stainless steel components, our newest design gives you an even larger straight through knot clearance from the tip to the reel.
Also, the frame is designed notch in the frame allowing an easy 'roll check', a more open area for applying resin, and a design shape offering a consistent silhouette of frames on your rod, which is sure not to confuse anyone as to who is the manufacturer of the highest quality precision roller guide products available - All American Roller Guides!
Our custom manufacturing insures you receive the highest quality frames with our individual process to line ream each hole for perpendicularity to give the roller a perfect fit (never to roll into the inside of the frame), hand coined feet and deburred for ease of wrapping, hand straighten each frame before color process, and once again at assembly before shipment.
COATINGS (applied directly to AA stainless steel frames)
Our Silver frames are an electro polishing process that brightens stainless steel. Chromium and nickel, which are components of stainless steel, are electrolytically drawn to the surface. The effect is very similar to chrome plating, except there is no adhesion to be concerned with. The layer is a homogenous constituent of the metal and cannot delaminate or peel. This nickel chromium mono-oxide layer is extremely corrosion resistant. The AA silver roller tip is a two-layer process with nickel and chrome.
Our Gray frames and tips are processed with a proprietary single layer smooth coating, which impregnates directly into the stainless steel and is highly corrosion resistant.
Our Black frames are a black chrome process with a special activator and black chrome applied directly to the stainless steel eliminating the traditional multi layer pealing. The frames are then polished in walnut shell to add even more luster to the black chrome. The AA black roller tip has a two-layer process with nickel and black chrome.
Our Copper frames are processed with Ionfusion™ technology. This process fuses Zirconium Nitride to the stainless steel resulting in the surface hardness surpassing 80 Rockwell C. This process ensures long life and maximum corrosion resistance. Applied to the stainless steel, long lasting consistent color is produced on each run. This process is also used on gun barrels, knife blades, mills, drills, and machine tools.
Our Roller Tip is a one piece cast, made of stainless steel, and machined to four different sizes #10, #12, #14, and #16. All the components are the same as used on the roller guides. This means that if you need a bearing, roller, pin, or screw, one fits all. Tips are offered in all the same colors as the guide sets. There is no finer roller top available anywhere!

All American Roller Guide screws are stainless steel with a NYLOK® patch that covers seventy percent of the length of the threads.
All American Roller Guide pins are stainless steel.
Although All American Roller Guides use all stainless steel components, we recommend a fresh water rinse to remove salt deposits and a drop of heavy reel oil, no spray lubricants, occasionally to insure a lifetime of trouble free performance.
